1. Participants are not liable for damages to the car should they occur. However donations will be accepted.

2. There must be a minimum of 5 participants in any driving session for you to earn a complimentary driving session. Other incentives may also be available. Any number of participants are welcomed but may not earn any incentives if smaller than ten. You may reschedule your date at any time. Just call or email us as far ahead of time as possible so your spot will be available to someone else. No shows are subject to 100% forfeiture of all monies paid. We will be happy to work with you on any problem however.

3. Buck Baker Driving School has cars in different cockpit configurations and special cushions which allow different sized riders to drive or ride comfortably. The 5-point harness must fit securely to hold occupant into seat. Buck Baker Driving School supplies the driving suit and helmet. We suggest you wear tennis shoes or driving shoes if you have them. The driving suits are very thick and hot and it is advisable to wear something comfortable such as shorts and t-shirt under the driving suit. There are cars that will accomodate almost any size person, so that should not be a problem. Be advised however, that the seats in these cars are not adjustable; they are securely fastened to the floor. Please understand that the car which you drive or ride in will depend on your size, so your favorite car brand or number may not be possible in some instances.

4. Minimum age to drive a car is 18 years old and must have a valid drivers license.

5. Minimum age for ride-along sessions is 18 also, however under 18 is half-price and half speed and parent or guardian must be present to sign a liability release form. The 5-point harness must fit securely to hold occupant into seat.

6. A reservation should be secured at least two weeks prior to scheduled track date, but last minute changes are acceptable.

7. These cars are 3400#, 351 cu. in. engines and have approximately 600 hp. They have more hp than you will ever use. The cars are capable of 160+ mph at Atlanta & Charlotte (Lowe's), 150+ mph at Darlington, 135+ mph at Rockingham and Richmond and 110+ mph at Bristol.

8. An event may be cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions but every effort will be made to get the scheduled sessions completed. You have the option to call ahead to reschedule if you don't want to chance the weather.

9. You do not need any prior racing experience but you must be a licensed driver and be able to operate a manual 4-speed transmission.

10. Drivers and passengers must be of safe physical health without any alcohol or ability-impairing substances including cold medicines.

11. If you are wanting to purchase a driving or ride-along session as a gift, you can get a gift certificate and the date and track will be left open for the recipient to decide. (It makes a great fathers day or Birthday gift.)

12. Family members and guests are welcome at every session and can go almost anywhere drivers go including classroom sessions, but not allowed on Pit Road beyond the wall. They may stand behind the pit wall and watch the activities or go into the grandstands. If watching from the grandstands however, it must be for the entire session if walking across the track is required. Driving sessions can not be stopped to allow anyone to cross the track, except in emergencies.

13. You may upgrade your driving session or purchase more laps at any time.

14. By being a part of a full 10 or more group through "A Race Fans Dream" you are getting special group rates and extra laps added to every driving session. You will also get reduced rates for ride-along sessions for a family member or friend. If you can form a group of 10 or more members you can earn a complimentary driving session. Other incentives may also be available.

Note: Driving any race car is dangerous with a possibility of injury. Although the cars are built to be safe, you too must do your part to insure your safety as well as the safety of others. DO NOT come to the race track under the influence of alcohol or drugs or even slightly buzzed and expect to participate in any sessions. If any student is in any way impaired and is considered to be a danger to any staff member, other participants or guests, you WILL NOT be allowed to participate and are subject to a non-refund of your money.
